Tokyo: Tea Ceremony & Japanese Traditional Sweets

Experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony in Tokyo. Learn how to prepare matcha from a licensed tea master, watch the graceful Otemae demonstration, and then try whisking your own bowl of matcha to savor its rich flavor.

You will also have the unique opportunity to make nerikiri, a beautiful Japanese confection that reflects the changing seasons. These traditional sweets are crafted with vibrant colors and delicate shapes to represent seasonal flowers and motifs, showcasing the refined skills of Japanese artisans. Enjoy the perfect harmony of your handmade nerikiri paired with freshly prepared matcha.

Guided by a tea master with over 10 years of experience, and supported by an expert host who provides clear explanations in English, this experience is both accessible and deeply authentic—even for first-time participants.

Please note: This tour is conducted in English only. Japanese language support is not available.
