Description

I am going to take you through Kibera Slum which is one of the largest slums in Africa. I am going to teach you the kind of lifestyle we live in our community.

We will also let you interact with the people within.
Our tour will start at our meeting point which is near our second president's homestead.

From there we will head directly to the slum where we will interact with the friendly guys around.
We will also visit the historic football pitches we have within our community

After visiting various places we will head to our resting points where we will have some drinks to energize ourselves then proceed with the rest of the tour

We will also visit the railway line teaching you how it came into existence

From there we will go to the viewpoint of the slum where can take group photos together and for the slum

From there we will be heading to our office where will be having chats as you wait for an Uber. The tours are being offered under a community based organization

Worth it - do it! :)

The tour with Daniel was fantastic! He gave us a great introduction to Chocolate City and shared fascinating information. If you want to get a real feel for the place, he's the perfect guide – he's happy to answer any questions and you always feel safe with him. Communicating with him beforehand was easy, and he was very accommodating. :) Anyone visiting Nairobi should definitely see this part of the city!

A Wonderful Insight into Nairobi

My partner and I really enjoyed this tour. Daniel was an excellent guide and it was fascinating to get an insiders view of this amazing place. Kibera seemed like a very chill place, we felt very safe, and I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing a different side of Nairobi.

Spontaneous guided Tour - Formative experience

We asked for the walk through the Kibera slum at a very short notice and Daniel went all out to give us the experience. During the tour, we always felt Safe and got the deepest insights into the everyday life of the slum. I can highly recommend the tour to support Daniels commitment and the projects of his aid organization.
