Description

Join me for a relaxed and engaging walking tour through the heart of Vilnius, one of Europe's best-preserved medieval capitals and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I’m a professional tour guide with an academic background in Italy. I studied at a university in Rome and am currently continuing my studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. My passion for history, art, and culture allows me to show Vilnius not only through its historical events, but also through its architecture and fascinating stories.

Together we'll travel through more than 700 years of history, from the legendary dream of Grand Duke Gediminas to modern-day Lithuania. Discover how different cultures, religions, and traditions shaped Vilnius, earning it the nickname "The Jerusalem of the North."

This tour goes beyond dates and facts. I'll share local legends, architectural highlights, hidden details, and stories that bring the city to life. You'll discover why Vilnius is known for its Baroque churches and how it has become one of Europe's fastest-growing technology hubs.

There is no fixed price. If you enjoy the experience, you are welcome to leave a tip at the end based on your satisfaction.

Broad and detailed tour of Old Town

Easy to find and to walk around, Marius was accurate in description and involved each and everyone of attendants to fully enjoy the experience. He was open to any questions and walked us through part of his life as well. We got our passports stamped in Uzupio republic gate, I don't think there's much to add, he took care of us from the beginning to the very end of the tour without stress or hurry, recommend!

Very nice your in Vilnius

Our guide Marius was really great! Showed us around the old town, we entered in 3 churches, the literature street, the Jewish quarter and into uzupio!! Marius got our passports stamped, gave us chocolate and showed us old photographs. 100% recomend!! Went with my boyfriend and we both loved it!

Consigliatissimo

Excellent tour

Thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour Guide was interesting and knowledgable with a good sense of humour. Minor criticism - at times difficult to hear as it was quite a large group.

A great way to discover Vilnius!

We loved the tour with Marius! He’s very knowledgeable about architecture and art, and you can really tell how much he enjoys what he does. He also recommended some lesser-known places to explore around the city, which was a great addition. The 2.5 hours flew by, and we even got to try some traditional Lithuanian sweets along the way. A great way to discover Vilnius — highly recommended!
