Private Fez medina tour

Abdul was a excellent friendly and professional guide, who my children and I got on with straight away. He took us to all the top spots, but was also able to weave into the day places we requested. There was no rush, he helped us stop and buy souvenirs and drinks, etc. Highly recommend paying for a 1 to 1 experience as it's worth it! Thankyou Abdul and team.

Good experience- recommended

Youseff picked us up at our riad we were the only ones on tour, communicated clearly, good stroll around to places we wouldnt have made it too, speaks English well, asked us what we wanted to see or not see. Had a really great time and when we had enough after 3 hrs we gave him a tip, no hassles about payment. I totally reccomend.

So glad we got a guide

We learned a ton about the history of the Medina, what it’s like to live here, and the different artisan crafts. The shops we went to weren’t the cheapest, but they were high quality and explained what to look for in the different goods, which was interesting and informative.

Absolutely Recommend this Tour for Anyone Visiting Fes

This was my second time in Fes — I first came with friends last year and had such a great experience with this tour that I brought my family back specifically to do it again. And even after a second time, I still learned new things! Youssef was incredibly gracious, allowing us to take our time and really enjoy each location at our own pace. He picked us up right from our Riad, which was a huge relief since navigating Fes on your own can be tricky. We explored the medina, learned about its history, and got a real sense of life inside from someone who knows it intimately. He's not only a great guide but a genuinely kind person. Whether it’s your first or second time in Fes, I can’t recommend this tour enough.

Good handicrafts tour

Youssef picked us up from our road which was a relief as we were worried about getting lost! He told is a bit about the history and explained some things about the medina and its residents. We then did the handicraft part of the tour which explained making silk items, hand designs on copper, the tannery and then the spice market. It was great to be able to walk around the medina without fear of getting lost. Youssef is very kind and helped someone push a heavy trolly uphill as well as delivering bread to be baked for an elderly lady. We only scored atmosphere down because the medina is a bit dirty, which is the fault of the guide or company. We were told we were the only booking and they offered to make a private tour for us. Great tour!

Recommend Highly

If you are looking for an opportunity to get the lay of the land, book this tour. For our first day in Fes, my 12-year old daughter and I booked a group tour with Youssef. Even though we were the only ones who booked that day, he kept the tour available and even picked us up from our riad. He was friendly and knowledgeable and hit the perfect places for a good introduction to Fes. He even asked us if there were any particular places we were interested in and he would take us. I felt we were walking the Medina with a long-time local, which we were. 10/10
