Fes Tour: Discover the Medina Maze on Foot

Discover the fascinating history, culture, and traditions of Fez on a 3.5-hour guided walking tour through the maze of its ancient Medina.

Our visit begins at Batha Square, not far from the iconic Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) and walk through s one of the Medina's main alleyways towards its historic centre. We will explore Nejjarine Square, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, founder of Fez and a descendant of Prophet Muhammad, and the famous Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University.

The visit continues to the beautiful Cherratine Madrasa, a traditional Islamic theological school, followed by Seffarine Square, where skilled coppersmiths preserve centuries-old craftsmanship. We will also discover traditional silk and wool dyeing techniques and visit the famous tanneries of Fez, among the largest and most fascinating in Morocco.

Along the way, we will explore lively traditional souks, discover local handicrafts, and enjoy a relaxing break for lunch or refreshments before concluding our unforgettable journey through the authentic soul of Fez.
