Description

Tetouan, the most Andalusian city of Morocco, a city where it seems that the clock stopped long ago, especially in its medina, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco 1997 so it still retains its original Andalusian aroma.

Since it was founded by Ali al-Mandri (1440-1515), a name that has become a symbol in Tetouan, the city became a tower in which to observe the roads, while reflecting its pain and nostalgia in Morocco.

Tetouan has always been considered part of a restored Andalusia full of charm, and offers a mix of cultures without neglecting its role as a guardian and showcase of the most beautiful traditions. We will start the free tour with a personalized introduction to the history and culture of the city, a lively description of the Moroccan way of life, the local markets and the customs of the natives.

Visit the magnificent sites of the city. I grew up in Medina, so I know all the hidden gems and love watching people explore the narrow alleys.

Au-delà des richesses historiques et culturelles qu’il nous a fait découvrir, nous avons particulièrement apprécié sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et sa passion pour sa ville. Nous avons également été touchés par l’accueil chaleureux des habitants et des commerçants, tous souriants, bienveillants et heureux de partager un peu de leur quotidien. Grâce à Hamid, nous avons découvert Tétouan avec un autre regard, en prenant le temps d’en comprendre l’histoire, l’âme et les traditions. Confusion about the location

We were sent the info about meeting point and at a last minute some change that we didn't received. Anyway we did meet our guide Hamid and it was a very informative tour.
