Description

The tour takes 2,5 hours, though Pridnestrovie deserves at least a week. It is not Stalinism; we are very volatile about where to go and what to do, but the default route covers must-see USSR era and modern bits of Tiraspol, plus my favorite nooks and crannies that I discovered doing my sketches.

I do postcards with my drawings and budget tours to top attractions and hidden gems of Pridnestrovie. I can make an unforgettable journey through all the contrasts of what it is - beautiful panoramas and impressive soviet relics, curious history, and nowadays life in the country that doesn't exist, combining the classic walk with forays for true explorers and adventurers.

The trip won’t be exhausting, not boring at all, and we will have time to talk about all the peculiarities of the past and present of Transnistria, my real name is Pridnestrovie.

You won’t be meeting a guide, you will be meeting a friend.

Transfer from Chisinău and back is possible as an extra option.

Real life Tiraspol experience

We had a great time with Anton, who was very kind, flexible and friendly. It was not a conventional tour with detailed historical explanations. We appreciated the picture Anton portrays of life in modern Pridnestrovie, which gave us a glimps of what it means to live in an unrecognised country.

Great insights

Anton directly asked what we would like to do and what's the reason for our visit. He adjusted the time we spent together accordingly and showed us nice places while he gave us a lot of interesting insights of the history and and current life in Pridnestrovie! We really loved it! Thanks Anton for this unforgettable time!
