Description

You do not want to miss a thing of the center of the capital? Do you enjoy sculptures, statues, and monuments and enjoy taking photos?, or, Do you want to see how the Stone Bridge connects two different sides of Skopje? Well, here you are, go for it!

During the walking tour, I will lead you through the story of Skopje, beginning with the new “Skopje 2014th,” presenting you with statues, sculptures, monuments, and squares. We will then cross the Stone Bridge through the very different Old Town and even further back in history, up to the fortress Kale, where the earliest evidence of human existence is.

With me, in Skopje, you must try a BOZA (drink dating back to the Ottoman Empire), have a traditional breakfast or dinner, see the oldest tree in this area, which dates back to 1475, and have free entrance into the best discotheques.

An ideal introduction to Skopje

That was great, everything I could’ve hoped for. Our guide was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic, giving us a good insight into Skopje past present. In fact, he covered Skopje, North Macedonia and Yugoslavia digging deep into the history of each. Along with this there were tips on places to eat or shop.
