Best way to see this amazing museum!

We took a free tour at the Museo Nacional de Antropología and it really made the whole visit. Our guide Ivan was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, his passion for the subject made everything much more interesting. The museum is huge and the history is dense, but he was patient with every question and explained how the cultures, timelines, and pieces connect. We left understanding the context instead of just walking past things, highly recommend if you want to understand the region’s complex history.

Great Experience to get more closer to Mexico Culture

Ivan is an absolutely phenomenal tour guide! He’s incredibly patient and explains everything so clearly. Throughout the whole tour, he had such thoughtful little discussions with me. Even with my broken English, he listened carefully to my every single question and went out of his way to make sure I fully understood. This two-hour tour was jam-packed and absolutely enriching. I learned such an enormous amount! There were quite a few Mexico-specific place names and Spanish cultural terms that were a bit tricky for me to keep track of, but that didn’t take anything away from this utterly mind-blowing experience. 10/10, hands down five stars, cannot recommend enough!
