Description

Discover one of Mexico City’s neighborhoods with the strongest cultural identity. Walk along its cobblestone streets, admire colonial façades, and step into the calm atmosphere of its plazas and gardens, where everyday life follows its own unhurried rhythm.

Throughout the route, you will visit emblematic spaces of Coyoacán: colonial chapels nestled among green areas, cultural venues dedicated to art and memory, as well as markets and plazas where tradition and the present coexist naturally. Alleyways filled with stories and legends complete the landscape of this deeply symbolic neighborhood.

The narrative weaves together the lives of key historical figures such as Hernán Cortés, Diego Rivera, and Frida Kahlo, whose paths left a lasting mark on the area. The experience concludes in front of the Casa Azul, now the Frida Kahlo Museum, one of the city’s most significant cultural landmarks.

This experience invites you to slow down and listen to the stories that inhabit every corner. Coyoacán reveals itself as a place where art, memory, and everyday life come together, offering an authentic connection to one of Mexico City’s most enduring and sensitive cultural identities.

Fabulous

I can’t say enough about Emilio our guy. He was fabulous. We were a party of three, and we are all in our 70s, one of us uses a cane. Emilio was engaging, and knowledgeable. And most of all, very patient and considerate Ticked all the boxes. Lovedthe tour of Coyoacan. Would highly recommend him and the tour to anyone who’s in the area. It was great fun!

Lovely tour in a lovely part of the city

Highly recommended tour of this charming part of CDMX. We enjoyed a leisurely walk around Coyocan past all of the important sites. If you want tickets to the "Blue House" be sure to book them well in advance (+ 4 weeks!). An alternative may be the "Red House" but you'll still need to prebook.

The best guide and a beautiful area

Laura was a wonderful guide - like having a good friend show you around their favourite area. Coyocan is a beautiful area, that we wouldn't have discovered fully without a guide - Laura took us to lots of great spots and it was great chatting away to her in between. Highly recommend!
