Alas, an historical tour available in Guanajuato
I was delighted to tour with Elena who offered such relevant and interesting historical context and information about GTO, such as the battle for Mexican independence, the role of the Spanish and the church, and mining - all of which situated current day GTO for me! It is difficult to appreciate the present without delving into the past! It was brilliant and a highly recommended this working tour if you truly want to appreciate Guanajuato then and now????

A wonderful taste of the city with a glance into the past.
Silvia was amazing. As we walked thru the city, she explained how it went from a small silver community to the beautiful city before us. The impressive development as well as the devastating flooding, and the history of Hildago and centennial anniversary opening of the market, which is a great spot to try many fruits and foods.
