The Great Cheese of Gouda: Self-Guided Exploration Game

This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played along the winding canals of Gouda. You will explore 12 different locations while playing as a small mouse with big dreams searching for a stolen cheese prize hidden in the cliffs. At each location, you'll solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on monuments, graffiti, and facades. It stays around the old town, mixing real history with neighborhood myths only locals share. Perfect for mystery lovers, history enthusiasts and urban explorers.

Starting from Grote Volmolen, the stops are spaced an average of around 250m apart, with each location taking around 7 min to complete. The route also passes through Agnietenkapel, Museum Gouda and Vrouwetoren. At each location, you'll solve a challenge and receive instructions for the next chapter.
