Muscat: Omani Food Tour with Shuwa & Halwa

Begin your culinary journey with a taste of Omani Shuwa, a dish where meat or chicken is buried underground for period ranging from 8 hours to 24 hours, wrapped in banana leaves and spices, and fermented for over 40 days. This dish is served with rice cooked with meat spices, known as Qabuli.

After the main course, enjoy Omani Halwa with coffee. This sweet treat is made with nuts, honey, saffron, ghee, cardamom, and some secret ingredients.
