Elena's mother is American, father a Greek-Panamanian, has lived in USA & Australia. Its great to have a guide who has accumulated different experiences, is well educated about local history and how Panama relates to the world, and is an effective communicator. Elena also offered helpful tips to better enjoy the area, including restaurants and shopping. Great experience! We also had a fine group of international tourists. One of the best free tours we had

We took a 2h15min free tour with Elena in the old town of panama (casco viejo). It was one of the best free tours we ever took. She was providing an excellent overview of the history of that area, not just listing facts but sharing many own experiences. She was very attentive to our needs, there was always the chance to take a seat, get a picture taken by her or ask questions. Happy to recommend the tour.
