For good riders

The guide was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. However, the actual bike trip was more difficult than the description suggested. The guide kept saying it was easier ahead but the route became harder, even moreso in the city streets. This said, the overall experience is worth the effort.

Archeological Bike Tour

Dany/Angel was great. I am an American tourist volunteering with a local organization, in which I only have the afternoons free - trying to fit in what half day tours I can. I booked the Arachelogical Bike Tour early in the AM for 1:05 PM that same day, and Dany/Angel contacted me shortly after on WhatsApp to confirm the details. The location where I volunteer is about a 45 minute bus ride away from Central Cusco, the meeting point. Being a tourist, not knowing Spanish, and being new to navigating Cusco's different buses/stops/schedules, I ended up running an hour late! I thanked him for being patient and helping me guide the buses' stops, and kept trying to persuade him to forget about me and move on with the tour if there were others waiting. Dany/Angel was so kind and patient and actually walked towards my location once I finally got off the bus. Once we got to the bikes and riding, Dany/Angel made sure I was comfortable with the bike provided and that we were going at a good enough pace according to my fitness level. He offered me choices of which routes I wanted to take. For the last ride, I opted for the more scenic route that brought us directly to Inkilltambo, that was absolutely breaktaking! Dany/Angel is knowledgeable and passionate about the culture and history of the Incas, Andeans, and Peruvians - he was an excellent tour guide! I am keeping him in my contacts for recommendations for future tours. 5+ stars to this gentleman (female traveling alone and felt safe the whole duration with Dany/Angel, especially when stray dogs attempted to chase us at one point in the ride)!
