From Tomis to Constanta: Self Guided Exploration Game

This is a self-guided exploration game played through the old town of Constanta, part walking tour, part real-life escape room. You will explore 14 different locations while following a weathered notebook passed from traveler to traveler, whose notes lead you from Greek Tomis through Roman, Ottoman and royal Constanta. At each location, you will solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues around on statues, monuments or facades, and receive the instructions for the next chapter. The game focuses around the old town peninsula, mixing real historical facts with local legends. Great for history buffs and fans of the poet Ovid.

Starting from the North Gate of ancient Tomis, the stops are spaced on average 200m apart, with each location taking around 5-10 min to complete. The route passes through local landmarks & attractions such as the Statue of Ovid, the Carol I Mosque and the Constanta Casino.
