Kigali walking tour

The tour started at The Rwanda Genocide Memorial, where me met our tremendous guide, Sandra. After a poignant education at the memorial, we headed towards Kigali’s city sign and stopped by for coffee - plenty of photo opportunities along the way, then onwards to Camp Kigali. A significant monument honouring the Belgian peacekeepers. It was then time for lunch at a vibrant food street. I can’t recommend our guide, Sandra enough. She provided a brilliant insight into her astonishingly hospitable and beautiful country.

Good Tour

Sandra was a great guide. She was very nice and helpful. My card wasn't working and she helped me a lot. We even ended up staying longer. At the end, it was a little weird because she said the free tour normally costs money. And sometimes I would have liked her to explain things a little more, but I could have asked more questions.

Walking tour of Kigali

Great co ordination by WhatsApp to meet on time with guide Sandra as the UCI bikes were in town cutting off a lot of streets making it hard to get around A good 2 hour walk around downtown and surrounding areas with a motorbike ride to cut back on the longer walking taking in downtown ending up in a street food area for a late lunch Thanks Sandra a great introduction to Rwanda. I will remember it fondly
