Description

Join us on a captivating cultural journey through three of Tunisia’s most iconic coastal towns: Sidi Bou Saïd, La Marsa, and Gammarth. This free walking tour is the perfect blend of history, art, architecture, and seaside serenity.

We begin in the enchanting village of Sidi Bou Saïd, famous for its whitewashed walls, sky-blue doors, and winding cobblestone streets. As we explore its hidden corners, you'll uncover the story-rich Ez-Zahra Palace, a hidden gem steeped in beauty and heritage. Along the way, treat your taste buds to Pamplouni, a sweet and refreshing local delicacy that perfectly complements the breezy coastal vibe.

Next, we make our way to La Marsa, where the sea meets the soul. Bask in the relaxed atmosphere, enjoy the beach views, and unwind with a cup of traditional menthol tea by the water’s edge. It’s the perfect moment to slow down and feel the local rhythm of life.

To end the journey, we head to Gammarth, known for its upscale coastal charm and vibrant evening scene. Here, you can discover cozy bars offering authentic Tunisian wines, a great way to wrap up the experience and toast to a day of cultural discovery.

Mouhib was an excellent guide

Mouhib was an excellent guide for the Sidi Bou Side and La Marsa walk. He ensured I took the right route to the meeting spot and didn’t get lost. He introduced me to not only the usual tourist spots but also the spots that were not common among tourist, which were a great addition. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

An Amazing Walking Tour with Mouhid!

We had a wonderful time on the free walking tour with Mouhid! He shared fascinating historical and cultural insights about Sidi Bou Said and La Marsa, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. What we loved most was that he took us to a few beautiful panoramic spots in Sidi Bou Said that were less touristy, allowing us to enjoy the views away from the crowds. He even treated each of us to a delicious bambalouni, which was such a lovely surprise! The tour ended in La Marsa with a relaxing cup of tea, making it the perfect way to wrap up the experience. Thank you, Mouhid, for your kindness, knowledge, and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover Sidi Bou Said and La Marsa beyond the usual tourist spots!

Nice family paced walk

We did the Tour as couple + our two Kids and it was great to visit places we would not find on our own. Mouhib showed great understanding beeing on Tour with kids and was very flexible timing wise. He nearly Sprint 4 hours with us! But the best was to exchange about culture, people and to understand a little bit more of living here in Tunisia. The only thing to consider with small kids is that the walk can be quiet steep up and down in Sidi Bou Said. Would recommend to do it as well!
