Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Plantation

Materuni Waterfalls meanders through lush valleys and hills adorned with tropical rainforests, passing by coffee, banana, and avocado "shambas" (farms in Kiswahili). On clear days, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Kibo and Moshi town.

The trek to the waterfall's base may pose some challenges, especially during the wet season, making sturdy hiking boots a recommended choice. Given its proximity to Moshi town, this excursion is perfect for those with limited time yet eager to witness the natural beauty this Tanzanian region has to offer.

Nestled at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Materuni stands out as one of the enchanting villages in Northern Tanzania. The village captivates visitors with its scenic beauty, making it an ideal destination for a holiday, weekend getaway, or vacation. While in Materuni, be prepared for an awe-inspiring panoramic view of Moshi Town and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Enhance your journey with a cultural experience, such as savoring banana beer or indulging in coffee roasted in the traditional Chagga way.
