Description

If you're visiting New York in 2026, you're experiencing a remarkable moment in American history—the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding and the 25th anniversary of September 11th.

Join New York guides on a journey through the Financial District, where the story of America unfolds. Discover how Alexander Hamilton helped create the nation's financial system, stand where George Washington took the oath of office as America's first President, and explore the institutions that shaped the modern world.

Highlights include the Charging Bull, Fearless Girl, Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, Trinity Church, and Hamilton's final resting place. We'll also visit the Elevated Acre, a rooftop oasis offering views of the East River and the Downtown Manhattan Heliport.

Along the way, you'll hear the stories behind Black Tuesday and the Great Depression before arriving at the 9/11 Memorial. There we'll reflect on the events of September 11th, honor the heroes and victims, and examine the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan.

This is more than a sightseeing tour—it's the story of ambition, sacrifice, resilience, and the enduring spirit of New York and America.

CityShuffles are the best by far

Having attended several tours on this platform with various providers we will not book with anyone else. Jon from CityShuffles was by far the best. Jon's knowledge and passion for his craft is to be applauded. We have done two tours now with CityShuffles and won't book with anyone else.

5 Start Tour

John went over and above on this tour extending it past 3 hours. He had engaging stories. He showed and shared reverence at the 9/11 Memorial - It is not treated as a tourist stop but a memorial garden. He took us to both the key attractions in the area but also to several "hidden gems". He provided several bar and restaurant tips too.

Such an awesome tour today!!!

The guide was amazing and you can tell he actually cares and loves what he does. Definitely not some generic tourist trap. I was super late because I missed my train but he was a total lifesaver and helped me find the group. He showed us cool hidden spots for photos and the 9/11 part hit completely different. Anyone can just walk past the memorial but hearing the real stories with him made all the difference. 10/10 recommend to anyone in NY.

Amazing!

I have to say that visiting New York without this tour, it is a complete mistake, it is too important to know this part of the story not only for the city but also for the country, Jon is too dedicated, he explained and told us many important things, with photos, and examples, he even recreated characters of the time, he was always kind and very patient to be able to meet the tour He showed us a beautiful coffee too! Excellent communication to be able to find it, and to be able to make the experience something special on my day off in New York
