At 9:00 AM, I'll pick you up from your hotel for a half-day tour of the ancient fortresses! We will visit:

-Ulli Hovli: Located 30 km from Khiva, this museum was once home to a prominent Turkman family. Discover Turkman culture, explore the house, and see animals.

-Ayaz Kala: 100 km from Khiva, this ancient fortress is unique with its unfortified rural settlements. Explore residential buildings with large yards and historic gardens.

-Kyzyl Kala: A significant monument from the final stage of antique Khorezm architecture, featuring corrugated walls and massive columns, representing the Afrigid period.

-Toprak Kala: An outstanding cultural monument of Khorezm from the 1st to 6th centuries A.D., and the capital in the 3rd century A.D.

After the tour, we'll return to your hotel in Khiva. Join us for an unforgettable journey through history!

Just do it if you have one afternoon free in Khiva, the landscapes and the monuments are beautiful, the car confortable and the guide is very perfect, good English, good mood, very welcoming. One of our best day in Ouzbékistan

Half a day through the fortresses

Great tour to the fortresses of Khorezm (Ayaz-Kala, Toprak-Kala, and Kyzyl-Kala). These ancient ruins are peaceful and beautiful, especially for history lovers. They are very far from the cities, so it is recommended to explore them with a local guide. We had an inconvenience with the car, but the guide was super professional, solving it immediately. Super recommended!

Great tour to the fortresses

We had a wonderful tour from Khiva to the desert fortresses with our guide, Sarvar. He spoke excellent English and shared a wealth of knowledge about the history and significance of the forts. In addition to the historical information, he also gave us fascinating insights into modern life in Uzbekistan. What made the experience even more enjoyable was his genuine interest in our lives and background, which led to many engaging conversations along the way. Sarvar was professional, friendly, and informative, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the region.

Fortress day tour

I went in the afternoon with Savar and it was a great experience. He is well experienced, kind and knowledgeable and knew how to make this tour comfortable. The sunset at the fortresses was a beautiful surprise. I would definitely recommend!

Visit to the fortresses in the desert

We went to visit the desert fortresses with Sarvar. He was a fantastic guide, precise and punctual. He speaks perfect English and told us many things about what we visited and about Uzbekistan in general. He was very company and very kind throughout the excursion.
