All-in-one tour
I had an amazing time while being led through the Nurullabay Palace. More than 2 hours of fantastic stories, interesting and must-know facts and history nicely packed in a friendly and funny atmosphere. I didn't even notice the time flew by so quickly. Totally recommended!

Consigliatissimo

Historical Depth: Beyond the Dates
If you’re looking for a guide who actually makes history feel like a conversation rather than a college lecture, book Bakhram from Eastexplorers. Here’s the straight talk on the Nurullabay Palace tour: • English: Honestly, it’s flawless. There’s no awkward searching for words or "broken" phrases. He’s articulate, understands sarcasm, and can actually handle deep-dive questions without skipping a beat. • Knowledge: The guy is a walking encyclopedia of Khorezm history. He doesn’t just point at walls; he explains the "why" behind the weird blend of Russian and Oriental styles in the palace. You get the royal tea—scandals, politics, and all. • The Vibe: He’s genuinely fun. Most palace tours can be a bit dry and stuffy, but Bakhram has a great sense of humor that keeps you from hitting "museum fatigue." Bottom line: It felt like hanging out with a very smart local friend who happened to have the keys to the palace. Skip the audio guides and just go with him.
