Guided Snowshoeing Adventure Tour in Rugova Mountains

Embark on an unforgettable winter journey into the snow-covered peaks of the Rugova Valley!

Your adventure begins in Peja, where you’ll meet your certified local guide and board our comfortable 4x4 Jeep. We’ll drive up scenic alpine roads, taking you deep into the heart of the Accursed Mountains (Bjeshkët e Nemuna National Park) right to the starting trailhead.

Upon arrival, we’ll gear you up with high-quality TSL snowshoes, trekking poles, and waterproof gaiters. After a quick safety overview and fitting, we’ll step onto untouched powder trails and quiet pine forests.

As we hike through frozen landscapes and panoramic ridge viewpoints, your guide—a local historian who grew up in these mountains—will share captivating stories of regional heritage, traditional mountain life, and local folklore. We’ll pause along the route for a hot drink and memorable photos against the rugged winter backdrop before heading back to Peja in our 4x4 vehicle.
