Zambezi National Park Game Drive

A game drive in Zambezi National Park offers an immersive safari experience in one of Zimbabwe’s most scenic and accessible wildlife areas. Located just minutes from Victoria Falls, the park stretches along the mighty Zambezi River and features teak woodlands, and open grasslands that support a wide variety of wildlife.

During the drive, guests explore the park in an open safari vehicle with an experienced guide who shares insights into the ecosystem, animal behavior, and local conservation efforts. The Zambezi River game drive route offers beautiful views of the river as well as excellent wildlife sightings. Visitors commonly encounter elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. With a bit of luck, predators like lions and hyenas may also be spotted.

The park is also a haven for bird lovers, making it ideal for both casual birdwatchers and enthusiasts. Early morning and late afternoon drives are particularly rewarding, as wildlife is more active during the cooler hours and the lighting is perfect for photography.

This game drive is suitable for all types of travelers, from first-time safari-goers to seasoned wildlife enthusiasts.
